The announcement from the organisers is as follows:
"Taking into serious consideration the following: Firstly, the latest risk assessment from the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) rates the risk of the outbreak of Covid-19 in Greece as moderate to high and on a global level the risk of transmission of the Covid-19 virus is considered extremely high.
Furthermore, the announcement from the Ministry for Health cancelling outdoor gatherings and the cancellation or postponement of large and small professional events in Greece and worldwide recently have led to unforeseeable circumstances regarding the successful organisation of Expo Corfu 2020 - Food & Beverage and Professional Equipment which had been planned for 14 - 16 March.
Our main consideration is the health of our visitors, exhibitors and personnel at Expo Corfu 2020 and taking the aforementioned into serious consideration, we are now announcing that Expo Corfu 2020 - Food & Beverage and Professional Equipment has been postponed to 25 - 27 April at Corfu New Port.
We would also like to inform you that the activities and and training workshops originally planned to take place at the Exhibition from 14 to16 March will now be taking place during Corfu Expo 2020 25 - 27 April."
