Ionian University designs innovative tourism exhibition stand for Corfu

CORFU. The stand, which will be available for use at Tourist Exhibitions, features contemporary design, recyclable materials and interactive applications.
In an effort to contribute to the promotion of Corfu the Ionian University has come up with an innovative stand which can be used at tourist exhibitions.
The aim of the stand, which features contemporary design and recyclable materials, is to connect media elements, create a register of visitors and social media contact details so that it can be continuously updated.
Special virtual reality game
A good example of the innovative nature of the interactive applications at the stand is the VR/360° virtual reality game where users can explore and enjoy experiences. The game shows points of interest in the Ionian Islands normally inaccessible to the general public using holograms to showcase the natural beauty.
The interactive exploration is done with mobile phones and tablets available at the stand. The game ends with the solving of a puzzle, revealing more locations and the legends relating to them to the player.
The second innovative feature is based on the creation of a video with air shots to create a specially designed map which acts as a big draw to the stand. It has special aesthetics and uses laser technology so that the moving images become part of the stand.
