3rd Erasmus meeting in Bucharest on the subject of Ioannis Capodistrias

CORFU. Five schools, including Corfu 1st Junior High, were at a meeting Bucharest organised by the Ionian Islands Regional Education Department - the Erasmus Programme coordinators.
In its role as coordinating body Ionian Islands Regional Education Department organised the 3rd meeting of the European Erasmus+ Programme "The multi-faceted personality of Ioannis Capodistrias". The five partner schools - Corfu 1st Junior High, Nafplion Junior High, Scoala Gimnazialanr 195 from Bucharest, Romania, Osnova Sola from Koper, Slovenia and Benediktinergymnasium from Ettal, Germany - met in Bucharest from 13 to 18 October.
The first two meetings took place in Ettal, Germany and Koper, Slovenia.
In the third meeting pupils and teachers took part in projects to do with the few months that Capodistrias was in Bucharest in 1812. The group was also taken on guided tours of historical buildings and museums in the region.
