Chamber of Commerce supports setting up of "Municipal Recycling Platform"

CORFU. Corfu Chamber of Commerce is participating in this initiative from the Municipality of Central Corfu & Diapontia Islands and invites all its members to support this effort to raise public environmental awareness.
Corfu Chamber of Commerce has issued an announcement to inform Corfu businesses of the initiative from the Municipality of Central Corfu & Diapontia Islands to set up a "Municipal Recycling Platform" to raise public awareness and reward citizens.
The Chamber is participating in this Municipal initiative and invites all its members to support this effort to raise public environmental awareness.
Announcement from the Chamber:
"Understanding the significance of environmental issues, the Municipality of Central Corfu & Diapontia Islands is setting up a "Municipal Recycling Platform" to raise public awareness and reward citizens.
The platform www.followgreen.gr/centralkerkira will be online from 29 September for members of the public and businesses.
Corfu Chamber of Commerce is participating in this initiative from the Municipality to set up a recycling platform and we all need to support it - for the benefit of both our businesses and the environment.
Businesses in Central Corfu and the Diapontia Islands are invited to contribute with special offers and discounts for products and services as a reward for members of the public who recycle and take an active part in the recycling platform.
Businesses that support this project will benefit from free promotion in the recycling platform.
The purpose of the platform is to provide another incentive for members of the public to make recycling a part of their lives and to understand that we all benefit from it.
We invite you to take part in our joint effort to have a clean town whilst at the same time promoting your businesses.
We look forward to your positive response."
