New Guinness World Record for recycling in Ioannina!

IOANNINA. Initiative from Ioannina Metropolitan Church and the company Reciprocal Recycling.
Another world record was broken in Ioannina - that of recycling plastic bottles - by the Metropolitan Church and the company Reciprocal Recycling.
Ioannina now holds the Guinness World Record for collecting and recycling over 2.7m bottles - over 54 tons of plastic - in one week. The record had previously been held since 2012 by Ecuador with 39 tons.
This new record comes just a few days after the first Guinness World Record for recycling glass bottles - also at the multi-purpose centre 'Recycling & Environmental Centre' which was set up by the Metropolitan Church, Reciprocal Recycling and the Athens Archbishopric charitable organisation 'Apostoli'.
And so it seems Ioannina will hold another record for holding the two records - something which hasn't been done before.
