Impressive ΄harvest΄ from this year΄s clean-ups in Corfu!

CORFU. The results of the Let΄s Do It Greece campaign get better every year with voluntary beach clean-ups taking place on the same day all qround the country.
The local group Let's Do this Corfu! also took part and on Sunday 7 April young and old took to the beaches with their rubbish bags.
The result was impressive! At least 17 areas were cleaned up - Alykes Lefkimmi, Gouvia, Temploni, Acharavi, Roda, Megali Lakkia, Erimitis, Arkadades, Liapades, Agios Georgios Pagon, Emporiko Kentro, Faliraki, Alykes Potamos, Alatospito, Kato Korakiana, Agios Vassilis children's playground, Benitses and Halikouna. Over 300 volunteers took part and over 500 bags of rubbish were collected!
