Hellenic-Serbian Friendship Medal to be presented to Kostas Nikolouzos

BELGRADE. Corfu, because of the history of Vidos Island, along with Kosova and Metohija, where a historic battle with the Sultan took place, are the cradles of the Serbian ethnogenesis.
Belgrade never lets this be forgotten. In an annual Friendship Event the President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić will honour the Mayor of Corfu Kostas Nikolouzos and others.
The Friendship Medal will be presented to Mr. Nikolouzos for his personal contribution to the strengthening of Hellenic-Serbian relations.
The event will take place at the Presidential Palace in the Serbian capital and the Corfu Mayor is flying to Belgrade on Thursday in order to attend.
