Road tragedy: 8-year-old girl killed in Corfu road accident

CORFU. Dreadful tragedy in Vrioni on Wednesday morning.
According to police sources, the young girl was attempting to cross the road with her mother when she was hit by two cars - one after the other. She suffered serious injuries and was taken by ambulance to Corfu Hospital where doctors made superhuman efforts to save her but to no avail and she died from her injuries. The two drivers have been held by the police.
