CORFU. The tragic victim of the fire which broke out in a house in Temploni on New Year΄s Day was a 67-year-old woman who lived on her own.
The prefab wooden house was ablaze in a matter of minutes and firefighters found the carbonised body of the victim in the house - beyond visual recognition.
However, all the indications are that it is the 67-year-old owner of the house Marina Gazi and DNA tests are being carried out to make formal identification.
