Fire in Ag. Arsenios, Lefkimmi under control

LEFKIMMI. Fire broke out in Lefkimmi just after 2pm this afternoon.
The fire broke out in a wooded area with tall reeds near to the Church of St. Arsenios and a residential area. Residents rushed to help put out the fire until the Fire Service arrived.
Firefighters quickly got the fire under control and are now extinguishing it completely and clearing the area.
