Cruise ship Costa Deliziosa cancels 3 visits to Corfu Port

CORFU. The largest cruise ship, which would have brought the number of passengers visiting the island to 8,500, didn΄t dock at Corfu Port on Tuesday.
The ship was the Costa Deliziosa (3,750 passengers), the larger of the company's two ships which dock in Corfu every Tuesday and Sunday. The agent told Corfu Port Authority that work needs to be done on the ship and they have chosen to do it at Argostoli.
Due to this, the cruise will not dock in Corfu for three Tuesdays (including yesterday) and will return on 2 October.
