Pilot arrested for flying without permission from Air Traffic Control

CORFU. A 59-year-old was arrested by the Port Authorities on Friday morning near Corfu New Port for endangering the safety of aircraft.
The glider was spotted in the airspace above the New Port and according to the Central Port Authority he hadn't received permission from the control tower and the Civil Aviation Authority and was interfering with air traffic at Corfu Airport.
The pilot is being questioned by Corfu Central Port Authority.
