Port police arrest 36-year-old with cannabis plants

CORFU. Police from Corfu Central Port Authority arrested the 36-year-old on Tuesday night.
Following up on information provided, police went to the man's house and, in the presence of a magistrate, found 26 cannabis plants - from 45cm to 210cm - growing in soil.
Outside the house police found a 210cm plant which had been uprooted, with its leaves removed ready to be processed.
They also found the following in the house:
- a glass container with cannabis leaves weighing 388g
- a glass jar with cannabis leaves weighing 136g
- a plastic bag with cannabis leaves weighing 15g
All the items were confiscated by the Port Authority, which is also conducting the investigation.
