Cause of British tourist΄s death in Corfu in 2017 still unknown

CORFU. The British are saying it was food poisoning - The Director of Corfu Hospital says that they still don΄t have the results from the toxicology tests.
The Daily Mail has published an article about the death of 37-year-old Natalie Rawnsley while she was on holiday in Corfu. The incident happened last August and according to the article, her husband said it was due to the mother of two eating uncooked chicken from the buffet at the hotel where they were staying.
When questioned by Enimerosi, Corfu Hospital Director Fivos Kakavitsas confirmed the woman's death in the summer of 2017. The Briton was sent to the hospital by a private doctor with medical complications and passed away a few hours later. The official cause of death was 'Disseminated intravascular coagulation' (DIC) - in other words multiple blood clots which are complications from other diseases.
It goes without saying that the hospital doesn't make personal medical files public, however the forensic report is still being awaited, which will include the results of the toxicology tests being conducted by the Toxicology Lab at Athens Forensic Service.
According to medical sources, toxicology tests usually take 8 - 10 months.
