CORFU. Otganized by Potamos Cultural Society and supported by ΄All Together for Corfu΄, Mantouki Cultural Society and local business owners.
'All Together for Corfu' Announcement
The appearance of Eth. Antistaseos Rd. will be changing on Sunday 20th May from 8:30 in the morning. The initiative came from the Potamos Cultural Society, which is also organizing the project and we will naturally be giving our support and participating.
We won't be alone, however. Local business people and owners of cafes, restaurants, night clubs, the children's playground and hotels will be participating as well as two construction companies. Mantouki Cultural Society, the local Corfu district, the Corfu section of the Regional Administration, Corfu Port Authority and members of the public will all also be helping.
There is a lot of work to be done. We will be cleaning up the central reservation, the pavements on both sides from the central Port entrance as far as the junction at Ekati (Alykes). We won't stop until the work has been completed and at the end 'Potamos' - in recognition of the voluntary work done - will treat everyone to souvlakia and refreshing drinks.
