΄Odysseus΄ added to the daily Corfu-Paxos ferry service

GAIOS (Paxos). The shipping companies Paros Cruises and Kamelia Lines, owners of the vessels ΄Odysseus΄ and ΄Despina΄, recommended a consortium with the two vessels for the Corfu-Paxos-Corfu ferry service.
Following a ministerial decision on 14th May approving the addition of the Odysseus to the ferry service, the vessel will begin its service on Thursday morning, 17th May, and together with the Despina will provide a smooth and comfortable connection between the two islands.
The Odysseus is 34 metres long and 7.20 metres wide with a cruising speed of 21 knots and a maximum of 25 knots, is air-conditioned and has an open deck, free Wi-Fi, a sophisticated system of biological waste treatment (without it being compulsory) to protect the marine environment and has a passenger capacity of 275. It was built in Greece in 2017.
