Russian journalists meet with Mayor of Corfu

CORFU. Russian journalists from specialist yachting tourism magazines met with the Mayor at the Old Town Hall on Monday afternoon.
The delegation, organized by the Greek-Russian Chamber, was accompanied by the Russian Consul for the Ionian Islands, Nikolaos Kanoulas.
After welcome the delegates, the Mayor talked about the close ties of friendship and cooperation between Corfu and Russia and wished them a pleasant stay on the island.
The aim of the visit is to promote yachting tourism in the Ionian Islands through the main Russian yachting magazines.
This initiative from the Greek-Russian chamber is part of the Year of Tourism between Russia and Greece.
