Cruise ship returns to Corfu Port due to passenger taking ill

CORFU. The patient was taken from the port by ambulance to Corfu General Hospital.
The agent from the K/Z 'AIDA BLU' - sailing under the Italian flag and having come from Bari - informed Corfu Port Authority on Tuesday night that a 59-year-old passenger had taken ill.
The ship returned to Corfu Port and an ambulance took the patient to Corfu General Hospital, where he remains hospitalised.
The AIDA BLU set sail once again and continued its cruise.
