Corfu Easter: Decrease in passenger numbers at Corfu Port - big increase at Lefkimmi

CORFU. There was a slight decrease in the number of passengers at Corfu΄s two ports over Easter.
There was a small decrease of about 4% in the number of passengers at both ports for Easter Week 2018.
The total numbers for both ports (Corfu and Lefkimmi) arriving from Igoumenitsa were 27,195 passengers, 5,711 cars and 188 coaches.
Corfu Port: 19,762 passengers, 3,895 cars, 130 coaches.
Lefkimmi Port: 7,433 passengers, 1,816 cars, 58 coaches.
There was a significant increase in the number of passengers at Lefkimmi Port, almost certainly due to the special prices for passengers and cars, the increase in the number of crossings and the shorter crossing time. Compared to last year, there were 3,088 more passenger arrivals over Easter, 886 more cars and 18 more coaches.
