Man found dead near Mavros Gatos in Spilia

CORFU. The autopsy will shed light on the cause of death of the 40-year-old man in Spilia at about 6pm on Friday. Passersby saw the man unconscious in a car and immediately called for an ambulance.
The Port Police will be conducting the investigation as the incident took place in their area of responsibility and they have requested the assistance of the Greek police. The area around the Mavros Gatos (Black Cat) has been cordoned off so that police can conduct their investigation.
According to local people, he must have died several hours (?) before. They say that perhaps what is found in the car may shed light on the cause of death. However, unnatural (criminal) causes for the death are not being considered as the strongest likelihood.
