CORFU. Corfu came alive today with the final day of the Carnival.
The costumed participants in today's parade made their own satirical, but good-spirited statements on current issues.
The procession with 'Sior Carnavalo' set off in the afternoon from San Rocco Square, passed along Voulgareos St. and Annunciata before arriving at Pentofanero and the Square. Carnivalos was accompanied by various dance school groups, carnival characters and floats.
The Greek Girls Lyceum preceded the Carnivalo Procession, parading in their Venetian costumes.
