Corfu man airlifted to Ioannina Hospital

CORFU. A 73-year-old patient, who needed greater medical attention, was airlifted from Corfu to Ioannina at 10pm on Wednesday night.
The patient had suffered a heart attack and it was deemed necessary to airlift him in an Air Force C-27J to Ioannina Airport. He was picked up at the airport by an ambulance and taken to Ioannina University Hospital.
