CORFU. Kostas Nikolouzos will represent the Region of Ionian Islands at a 2-day Inter-Regional Meeting on 24th and 25th January.
The Mayor of Corfu, Kostas Nikolouzos, left for Moscow today. He is representing the Region of Ionian Islands at a 2-day Inter-Regional meeting in the Russian capital, as Corfu is the most important tourist destination for Russia in the Ionian Islands.
On the first day the main focus will be presentations by the Greek regions to the respective Ministers of Tourism from 15 – 17 regions of the Russian Federation, which will be followed by meetings between the Greek and Russian regions to promote tourist products. On the second day there will be meetings with representatives from the private sector.
