Corfu-Parma: Signature of Friendship and Collaboration Agreement

CORFU. The formal signature of the Friendship and Collaboration Protocol between the Municipalities of Corfu and Parma took place on Friday evening
with the two mayors, Nikolouzos and Pizzarotti, signing the Agreement.
The ceremony took place in the Old Town Hall in the presence of representatives from Corfu and Parma, the Catholic Archbishop, I. Spitieri and others. Corfu was represented by the President of the Local Council, M. Mouzakiti, the Deputy Mayor for Finance, Mr. Pantelios and for Business and Tourism, Mr. Kavvadias as well as the former mayor, Mr. Trepeklis and others.
On Saturday 21 October at 11am the Corfu mayor will be presented with an ambulance – a gift from the Municipality of Parma and the descendants of members of the Italian military division Acqui. The presentation will take place in front of the Old Town Hall and the ambulance will then be given to Corfu General Hospital.
