CORFU.At the moment, Corfu’s single repair unit – which has to cover the whole island – is working on electricity repairs outside Corfu Town.
Employees of the Hellenic Electricity Distribution Network Operator (DEDIE) are working as quickly as possible in order to return to the Town and deal with the three areas currently without public lighting.
A DEDIE employee told us that in all three areas – Mourayia, Kyprou and Marasli – fuses have blown. However, the public lighting should be restored by 10.30 they told us.
